Rene Marie Russo has been a model, actress and filmmaker in the United States. In addition to her graceful beauty, her continued success in the competitive film industry is testament to her abilities as an actor. The model began her modeling career in the 1970s. In the next few years, she was one of the most sought-after models. From the 80s onwards, she began taking classes in acting and theater prior to performing on theater stage of Los Angeles. Rose Namajunas, one of the UFC's most popular female athletes, is an extremely successful athlete. She started out as an amateur fighter who participated in regional competitions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she joined the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Due to her successes both inside and beyond the octagon, Namajunas has been known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas, a Lithuanian-immigrant, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Growing up, Rose was involved in sports such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships was signed by the 18-year-old at the age of 18, and she was able to win 2 fights via submission. Dana White took notice of the fact that she had won, and was admitted to the UFC's strawweight class at the end of December 2014, when she was only 22. Her career has had extremes, as well as lows, yet she is always able to come out of her fights on top. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose beat Esparza with a technical knockout in less than 3 minute of the Round One. Namajunas then went on to take home a number of other victories. She also beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, winning two Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
